LIKE ITS POPULAR BIG BROTHER SHIP BELLS, our five-inch diameter nickel finish brass wall bell is made of solid brass (not brass colored aluminum) and now features a one-inch thick hand braided, double knotted pull cord, which is more attractive, gives better grip, and is just better all around. At 2.5 lbs., our five-inch diameter brass bell is as heavy as many of the seven-inch diameter bells advertised elsewhere. Not only does the extra weight give it a better tone, but the extra thickness of the solid brass mount also makes it safer for even the most vigorous pull.  Polished chrome finish, and perfect for the person who wants a high quality bell at a not-so-high price, or for someone who doesn't quite need the louder ring of a bigger brass bell.
