And at nine pounds, it resonates with a deeper, richer far reaching tone because of the thicker than normal bell walls we use. Until now, we offered only our largest solid brass bells with a shackle designed for hanging. But now we're proud to offer our top selling 8 inch diameter ridged brass bell in a handsome antiqued patina with a thick brass shackle instead of a wall mount. Shackle is a full 2 inches in diameter, with an opening approximately 1.5 inches wide that accommodates hanging the bell with a thick rope, wire, hook or whatever else you can come up with.
Solid brass bell weighs 8 pounds, has plenty of room for text or logo engraving, and comes with our hand tied cotton double knotted pull rope. Unlike other bells that look great in photos, this one has thick walls for a deeper sound.
